I am honored to serve as Baxter's Chief Quality Officer and be a member of Baxter's Executive Leadership Team and Operating Commitee, with a direct reporting line to the CEO. I am proud to lead the Quality function at a company whose products are so critically important to global healthcare and to be a leader of Baxter's mission to Save and Sustain Lives. In my role I have overall responsibility for the end to end Global Quality organization that covers over 60 manufacturing sites across the business segments of Healthcare Systems & Technologies, Medical Products & Therapies, Pharmaceuticals and Kidney Care. My team covers all above site quality functions that support the execution of the Quality Management System, Quality Compliance & Systems, Auditing and Strategy & Business Operations. The global quality organization consists of nearly 5000 colleagues that are committed to delivering high quality products today while innovating for tomorrow. Our Global Quality Vision is focused on three key areas (1) Strengthening the foundation to drive excellence in execution while assuring that we maintain a favorable regulatory profile & strong reputation with all global health authorities. For nearly 9 years, I was the Global Quality Officer at Takeda, where I took great personal responsibility for assuring that medicines meet the highest quality standards for the patients. I reported to the CEO and I had a seat on the Takeda Executive Team, where Quality was a valued member of the team that ran the business. On this team, I participated in the development of the business strategy and oversight of company performance with the most senior executives of the company.There were over 5000 colleagues in my organization across over 30 manufacturing sites and in over 70 countries. I led the Global Quality Leadership Team which covered all quality & compliance functions for the company, including business units for biologics, plasma & plasma collection, small molecules, and vaccines. I was responsible for all global functions including R&D Quality, Compliance & Systems, Product Quality & Surveillance, Strategy, Commercial Quality, Global Pathogen Safety and Japan Quality. I was a member of the Global Manufacturing & Supply Leadership team, where I partnered with the team to ensure delivery of high quality supply of medicines.Since becoming Takeda's first Global Quality Officer in 2014, I led my team through a global transformation into a Top 10 Global Biopharmaceutical leader that consistently maintained a strong record of quality & compliance performance. I implemented digitization of processes and digital fluency of my teams in order to improve efficiencies & compliance and enable predictive Quality for the future. I strived to create a diverse and inclusive environment, where everyone was heard and valued.

I was responsible for Quality at over 70 manufacturing sites globally across the Teva manufacturing network. I was organized by business units and regions and delivered products to meet the requirements of all global health authorities, I also established the quality framework & foundation for generic product growth in Japan for the Japanese market.

At Pfizer I was responsible for Specialty / Biotech Quality Operations for nearly 3 years which included the network for the manufacturing & distribution of Prevnar 13. My team supported the delivery and alignment necessary for the complex components of the vaccine & biotech products for Pfizer at both internal & external manufacturing sites. Prior to Pfizer acquiring Wyeth in 2009 I held leadership positions at Wyeth for 6 years. I was Vice President of Quality & Compliance for the Global Pharmaceutical Operating Unit. In this capacity I led the quality units in Puerto Rico and Europe that delivered pharmaceutical products for the US and European markets. My former role at Wyeth was Vice President of International Quality Operations, which included all plants and affiliates in Asia Pacific, Latin America and Global Nutritionals.

I was responsible for Site Quality at the Malvern PA biologics manufacturing facility. Prior to that role I was Site Quality Head at the Raritan NJ biologics manufacturing faclility.

I started my career at Johnson & Johnson as a Microbiologist in Raritan NJ. I advanced my career in the management of a shared service Microbiology laboratory that supported the J&J pharmaceutical network. During this time I completed my Ph.D in Microbiology at Rutgers University. Before moving into site quality leadership I was Director of Microbiology for the pharmaceutical laboratories across North America for Johnson & Johnson
