• Provide safety leadership through implementation of Bird Safety Program and monitoring of safety performance of project team and subcontractors.• Planning, scheduling, setting objectives and controlling activities during the construction phase of a project(s) in conjunction with the Project Superintendent and Project Team.• Supervision and development of project team members through regular feedback, training and coaching; timely completion of performance evaluations.• Administration and management of prime contract and subcontracts; includes negotiation and awarding of subcontracts for scopes of work as well as review and evaluation of subcontractor performance.• Manage project budget and billings and work with accounting to ensure timely payment of A/R and A/P.• Review and analysis of costs and identify revenue opportunities.• Monthly and quarterly reporting on financial and overall performance of project to Senior Management.• Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects and subcontractors.

• Review drawings, specifications, instruction to tenders, and scope of work in order to prepare and submit tenders on time. As part of the tender submission, obtain certificates of insurance and surety bonds. • Perform quantity take-offs and reach out to vendor(s)/subcontractor(s) for pricing. Use information from take-offs in order to approximate productivity rates and calculate unit prices with HCSS – Heavy Bid. • Use escalation factors for multi-year tender submissions in order to account for rate increases in labor, equipment, and materials.• Review contractual agreements and execute them. Knowledge of MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) and CCDC (Canadian Construction Document Committee) rules and procedures.• Coordinate the change order management process and ensure change orders are approved on a timely manner prior to additional scope of work commencing on site. • Review shop drawings received from subcontractors/suppliers and forward to architect /consultant for approval.• Receive and file all third party test documentation, as well as ensure that client specifications are met.

• Assist in the creation of a cost reporting system as per project components in order to track labour, equipment, materials, and subtrade’s costs and stay within the budget • Create and update project schedules on a weekly basis by using Microsoft Project as well as track project milestones and financial deadlines• Coordinate the request for information (RFI) process, ensure that RFIs are distributed to affected trades and maintain RFI logs and binders• Manage the change order process by securing pricing from vendor/subcontractor and submitting the change request to the client• Lead the liaison with clients and subcontractors to ensure that pre-access qualifications, safety requirements, and agreements are met prior to work commencing on site. • Retain QA/QC reports, certificates, documentation, as-built drawings, and inspection reports for turnover documentation and verify that work done is in accordance to issue-for-construction drawings and client specifications • Cost code subcontractor daily tickets, packing slips, and timesheets as per project chart of accounts

• Worked as a cashier and customer service relations in a high volume retail environment with 22M dollars in annual revenue• Maintained excellent communication with staff in order to fulfill customers’ needs and keep shelves stocked in order to meet daily sales target• Coordinated with other retail outlets to transfer merchandise in for customers and restaurants inorder to meet target sales• Completed Wine & Spirit Education Trust level I with a 98% in order to gain product knowledgeand better serve customers and as a result improved store revenue

• Analyzed gaged drainage basins in the region and used the data to estimate the response of an ungaged drainage basin where the run-of-river power plant was proposed • Analyzed the geography and hypsometry of the catchment basin using GIS software in order to find the optimal intake location • Determined the peak flood flows in the region using Gumbel probability distributions

• Worked alongside first and second year engineering students in order to help them understand course material and better prepare them for exams, homework and projects• Participated in monthly staff meetings to give feedback and improve tutor to tutee interaction
