I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Iowa studying Business Analytics and Information Systems looking to apply my interest in analysis and building professional relationships in an internship. During my time at the University of Iowa, I've found a passion in helping people through organizing and understanding data. There's a deep satisfaction in transforming a large set of lifeless data into something that can be visualized and learned from. As businesses grow, so does the amount of data they have at their disposal. Having the ability to use that data to enhance a business is why I chose Business Analytics and Information Systems as my major. This past summer I had an extremely unique experience working at Jacks Diving Locker in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. I worked with customers from all over the world and gained valuable sales experience. I learned how a small business operates on a day to day basis. It gave me a true understanding of how to maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.I want to demonstrate the skills I've learned in school and in my previous position in a corporate environment where I can make a great impact. I am eager to put my passion for analyzing data and customer service to work as an intern.
