Currently seeking new challenges / opportunities and will consider most interesting locations. I'm an accomplished finance/management professional with over 30 years of experience gained across the private, public and charity sectors. I have a broad set of transferable skills, acquired through working in diverse environments and geographies. This includes leading teams, managing stakeholder relations & dealing with all levels of Finance within the organisation (both financial & non-financial).Over a long and diverse career I have consistently taken risk in favour of confronting complex issues and managing through the inevitable change that is required. I prefer being at 'the coalface' where responsibility and accountability are unavoidable and benefits can clearly be measured. Throughout my life I have been at the forefront of some of the biggest challenges faced in the modern era which includes the dismantling of apartheid, the transition from communism to capitalism, the dot.com boom and bust, the real estate boom and bust, and the most recent privatisation in UK history. It is these experiences that equip me so well to deal with current global challenges.
