In his twenty-eight years of law practice, Mr. Wittstadt has served as defense counsel in both civil and criminal matters, and plaintiff's counsel. He has tried more than 125 jury trials and represented clients in numerous federal and state appeals, including the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Wittstadt served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General Corps where, among other achievements, he was responsible for twenty-four published appellate opinions on military justice matters, including the highly publicized United States v. Kelly, 40 M.J. 558 ((N.M.C.M.R. 1994). Mr. Wittstadt is a licensed real estate broker and a published author.
