TALENT Doctoral Fellowship Programme- Coordinator and project manager of NNF funded ATLAS project (grant application, budget allocation, assay development and stakeholder/collaborator management). DNA extractions, restriction enzymes, PCR, qPCR, CRISPR-Cas9, etc. to purify and sequence extrachromosomal circular DNAs (eccDNAs). Sequencing of eccDNA using MGI and Oxford Nanopore approaches. - Experimental lead in a genetic engineering project in S. cerevisiae (yeast) to model extrachromosomal eccDNAs. Used classical microbiology techniques in combination with genetic engineering tools to in vivo model eccDNAs.- Isolation of non-conventional yeasts from termite insects and molecular identification by rRNA sequencing.
