Freelance Requirements Engineer / Business Analyst

Interim Business Analyst within the eCommerce team.

Project Manager / Product Owner of a various number of Scrum development teams (about 20 members in total) based in Poland.As part of the E-commerce Team primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of our websites in 15+ countries and our internal applications. As a Product Owner, I think out and prioritize new feature and bugfixes based on Business needs. Also, I always aim to optimize the (development) processes as much as possible, to have an efficient and effective IT department as possible.

March 2011 - January 2014: Project ManagerIn this position I lead several web application development projects for various clients, particularly in the healthcare sector. Besides that, I also managed B2B and B2C E-commerce webshop projects for a wide variety of clients, particularly international players.These projects had an average maturity of several months, and were implemented by a team of 3 - 5 members.August 2011 - Februari 2013: Team Manager Webapplication developmentTeam Manager of the webapplication development Business Unit of XSARUS. This team had about 8 members: an interaction designer and several junior & senior (mostly backend) webdevelopers and mobile developers. With this team we were responsible for all web- and mobile application development projects, and some (mostly B2B) e-commerce projects.November 2009 - August 2011: Technical Coördinator & Software EngineerIn this role I was responsible for the technical quality delivered within the company. Roughly by doing the following:- Release Management of TableTop Framework and several projects- Software architecture / Technical designs- Database Modeling- Determining solution alternatives- Determining migration / integration steps- Knowledge / Competence Management- Software Quality Monitoring- Internal education, support and training- Internship supervision

As part of the SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) team, I worked on large-scale, high-availability business information systems for large customers in the Dutch utilities sector.In this job I had the role of Java developer, Service Coördinator and Bugfixer.

Working Tomorrow graduate programme;Graduated with a proof of concept (called "Follow the Crowd") for tracing huge groups of people during events (e.g. concerts and soccer matches) using the mobile phone network. This project included simulating, detecting and visualizing the crowd's movement.
