In this function Gerard fulfilled several roles:- Product Owner: Gerard is responsible for the NL backlog for mobile banking. - Project Manager: As a project manager Gerard has been responsible for the realizing the business objectives of several interbanking and internal projects within Triodos Bank NL such as:o iDIN (2015 – 2016)o eMandates (2015)o Outsourcing distribution of tokens (2015)o SEPA Whitelisting (2015)o Signature Card at Relation Level (2014 -2015)- Business Analyst: In the role of business analist Gerard has been guiding the realization of several smaller change requests. Gerard’s tasks are: analyzing whether the submitted change request by the business really fulfills the needs, coordinating the communication with the development team, facilitating and sometimes executing the acceptance tests

In his current function Gerard focuses on the realization of an optimal alignment between business processes, strategy, organization and information management policy. Main activities:- Execute scans (organisation scan, business case, business analysis, tool selection)- Give advise about process implementation strategies- Process Management- Managing process improvement projects, change management

- Describing processes in ARIS through interviews and workshops of the departments of Communication & Sustainability and Compliance.- Developing a process performance dashboard- Coaching colleagues in performing the role of process manager, particularly in the field of process modeling.

One of the goals of the organization in which Gerard worked was to improve the alignment between the executed projects and the organization's objectives. Business architecture was thereby seen as a means to achieve this goal. In the role of Business Architect Gerard contributed to the better use of business architecture. He supported and gave advise during business architecture checks. He has implemented Project Start Architecture within his department and provided training on this subject. Gerard has also developed training material on identifying and describing SOA Business Services.In his role as Business Analyst Gerard has prepared business cases, gathered requirements and described processes in ARIS. He has supported the Information Manager by coordinating and monitoring schedules agreed with the IT department for various e-business projects. Also he wore concern for prioritization (including budget for innovation) and he has provided vendor management to one of the external suppliers.

As a process management specialist Gerard supported the process architecture team at putting ready the ARIS environment in which all processes had to be administered.

Gerard was assigned to a process management team within the software development & maintenance department as a process management specialist.The process management part of the assignment existed in modeling Application Services Library (ASL) processes. Gerard was responsible for the local process library. Gerard was the project leader who led the conversion of the central process library from Visio to ARIS. To his tasks belonged, drawing up and monitoring the project plan, reviewing the centrally imposed conventions to the local needs, suggesting improvements to the conventions and administering processes in ARIS. Moreover Gerard has been substantively involved in a Benelux harmonization program in the field of IST processes. Organizing workshops, exchanging best practice belonged to his tasks.
