VectorWorks has the potential to become a key player in this turmoil."Well, the BIM hype has set off and Vectorworks is still there. Revit had to rethink their strategy acting as if they were the only program that matters. It seems that the CAD program or the BIM model created with it, are not the key elements in BIM. The agreements between the building partners, and the contract confirming those agreements, seem to be the heart of BIM. The exchange of the BIM model is a technical problem to be solved by one or two ITers in the firms and rarely subject of concern.Specialties: Translator of ideas.At a very practical level, I can model the idea the architect has and make the images that are necessary to convey the idea to the general public.As well as teaching the software to architects I can, vise versa, translate the moments the trainee hesitates or stumbles, to clear descriptions for User Interface improvements to the program.
