IDA Ireland's mission is to help encourage world class companies and next generation industry leaders to locate their EMEA and global activties in Ireland. We provide a free one-stop shop for all prospective and existing clients to help them leverage Ireland's capabilites to the maximum and make Ireland as the No.1 location in Europe for multinational firms to do their business. Currently I am the lead in developing and enhancing Ireland Aviation and Oil & Gas Engineering offerings to world calss companies looking to find the worlds best location to do their business. We work with a wide remit and cover all aspects of Aviation including MRO, Airframe and Component Manufacture, Technology Services and Research. Our clients include Lufthansa Technik, SR Technics, PWA, Moog, Curtiss-Wright and Airbus. In my Oil and Gas role we are currently helping develop up Ireland as a location for the development of world class engineering and technology services to capitalise on Ireland’s global reputation for engineering design, material & surface technologies and geotechnical engineering. Ireland may not be the centre of the universe for O&G but well known companies such as Tullow Oil, Wood Group Kenny, Kentz and Cove Energy and Shell have significant operations here. In the past I have also worked as led manger for the development of Consumer Products and Services investment for Ireland, seeking to target and help attract a wide range of consumer facing companies from diverse Online and Offline Retail, Cosmetics, Luxury Goods, Travel and Food sectors. Some of the clients we work with include Bulgari, Luxottica, Amazon, Oakley, Wyndham, Bose, Hertz, Experian, Whirlpool, Blue Nile, Russell Athletic and Kellogg's.Prior to my consumer and luxury goods role, I was VP of ICT New Business in IDA and would have worked with clients including Business Objects, Avaya, Alienware (now Dell), Trend Micro, Tessera, Micros and APC.
