You could be forgiven for thinking IT at a seafood company? The challenges are great, but its rewarding to tackle such diverse opportunities. We are currently undertaking an ERP conversion. I have created a suite of web solutions to streamline sales and operations planning, as well as logistics dispatch. I am continuously improving the analytics and writing complex logic to facilitate more powerful business intelligence. I ushered in Microsoft Power BI to the company to transition off older BI solutions. I have created a Management Resource and Planning web solution which is utilized to help guide hundreds of millions of dollars of purchasing decisions for the past 3 years. Created a document management system from scratch utilizing open source technologies which saves 40K in yearly licensing fees and initially saved over 60K in professional services. The DMS has indexed nearly 3 million documents over the last 6 years, and saved countless hours in the collections department. Are we done yet, nope more innovation and integration projects are in process with no end in sight.

Implemented a Framework for effectively utilizing and deploying Microsofts Complex Event Processing technology (StreamInsight) into a multi-tiered high throughput environment. Continously developed new methods and models for analyzing high volume streams. Acquired a deep understanding of StreamInsight via constant POC projects and refinement of a very effective generic framework for building and deploying StreamInsight applications at MySpace. Worked directly with Microsoft and StreamInsight developers in bringing StreamInsight to MySpace.Over 2 years of Lead/Senior/Management experience in Data Development. Worked as lead on projects such as MySpace Development Platform, MySpace WebIM, built an analytics solution that was capable of processing 400 million plus mobile events daily (130+GB of data) which had less than a few days downtime in the span of over 2 years.
