As the Director of Institutional Relations and Communication at Cercle d'Economia, a civic association that seeks to foster debate on economic policies and social progress, my role is to connect the dots. As a communications expert, I create powerful messages for our audience and make sure it resonates. As a public affairs official, I ensure that policy and business strategies are aligned. As a journalist, I look for the threads that tie one piece of a story to the other. As a lawyer, I seek to find a common ground where disagreement happens.I am bothered by “the comfort zone,” and my career path shows just how much I enjoy a good challenge. Until October 2020, I worked as Director of Business Development at LLYC. Prior to that, until December 2017, I worked as Director of Institutional Relations for FC Barcelona, heading the social, charitable and commercial expansion of the Barça brand. Previous to this, I held various positions in the Regional Catalan Administration, such as chief of staff for the Health Secretary, Director of the Board of Trustees for Lleida province’s economic promotion and chief of staff for the Lleida Mayor’s Office.Connecting the dots for me has always been about education. I continue to be active with ESADE Law School in addition to my other roles because it keeps my mind focused on how to get a point across effectively, and this is at the heart of what I do.
