Seismic Observers deploy, operate, recover and maintain seismic recording instruments. Constant monitoring of the seismic system ensures data quality and that signal versus noise characteristics are acceptable. Checked and repaired antenna and dishes, VHF radio links and encrypted UHF radios• Setup PBX and Dect telephone systems • Maintained all laboratory equipment including Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, OTDR, TDR, Manometers, Metal Analyzers, Power supplies etc. and ensured that calibration certifications were in date
