Gerardo Penchyna Cárdenas is a Founder of The Pádel Club, where he aims to serve as Chief Operating Officer. With over 20 years of experience in racquet sports, he began this venture in July 2024.In addition to his work in Houston, Gerardo continues as a policy analyst, focusing on the energy transition. He holds a master’s in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and is a Non-Resident Fellow at the University of Guyana’s GREEN Institute. He also contributes to the Baker Institute’s Center for the US & Mexico at his alma mater Rice University. Gerardo holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Rice University where he played Division 1 NCAA College tennis, and he has previously worked as intern at Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG) | DGA Group, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the Woodrow Wilson’s Mexico Institute, the Baker Institute’s Center for the U.S. & Mexico, and the Council of the Americas (AS|COA)
