I form part of the Digital Engineering Platform team, as part of this team I collaborate with Agile teams to deploy and configure CAD methods and tools for Engineering and R&D Users worldwide by defining and designing tool specifications for CAD and Engineering Tools (CREO, PTC Workgroup manager, Solidworks, SEE Electrical, amungst others), I also assist in defining optimal IT architecture that complies with Cybersecurity and participate in selecting the best strategies to deploy engineering software.My activities in this role involve the following:• Develop and customize PowerShell packages for SCCM software deployment of E-CAD software solutions.• Define specifications for AWS servers for host applications.• Collaborate with team members and involved parties to define the best architecture necessary for our custom-tailored Solutions.• Collaborate with AWS team and vendor to best support the applications, Windows Servers, and SQL Servers as required.• Develop automation scripts and customizations as required to the applications using VBA, Python, PowerShell, C#, and other .NET technologies.• Provide support with engineering software installation and configuration for end users.• Collaborate with Platform teams to provide development solutions for scripts and applications to be deployed.• Automate and propose improvements to current methodologies as well as research and implement new technologies.
