RESPONSIBILITIES•Assist in the cutting, bending and running of the conduit as specified on blue prints•Assist in the installation, modification, and fabrication of cable tray as necessary according to specification•Assist in pulling the cable through specified pathways•Assist in terminating wires and cable to electrical equipment such as but not limited to breakers, control panels and distribution system•Assist in the testing of electrical components for continuity and proper voltage readings according to specifications•Assisting in terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, outlets, and various electrical devices•Splice wires and install conduit, panel boards, switch boxes, motors and drives and other electrical equipment•Installing underground provision of roughing-ins as per plan required•Identify electrical problems with variety of testing devices•Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools•Lighting repair and maintenance•Identify all tools required for tasks•demonstrating proper use of tools such as hacksaws, pipe benders, pipe threaders, hammers and screwdrivers•Identify safety risk and precautions required to eliminate those risk•Assist in the inspection of electrical equipment and components to identify hazards and to ensure the equipment is in good operation•Conduct preventive maintenance•Keep maintenance report and documentationSPECIAL SKILLS AND DUTIES•Assist QA/QC during inspection•Perform site visits to validate scope of requirements and determine existing conditions, inspect construction, prepare site survey reports and support to perform commissioning team activities•Develop preliminary and detailed design drawings (general arrangement, elevation, location, schematic)•Prepare reports, specifications, construction cost estimations•Produce bills of materials•Perform ampacity and voltage drop calculation•Perform matching or sizing of maximum number of conductors in conduit.•Perform matching or sizing of maximum number of conductors in conduit.•Assist in training junior staff•Support ACAD drafts man to create detailed section drawing plans of electrical and auxiliary.•Constant reporting to Construction/ MEPF managers, QA, QC and foreman to keep the coordination of work be in a good condition before being done.•Redesign electrical layout
