I am currently a graduate student at UCF pursuing a PhD in aerospace engineering. I have over 4 years in research experience and I am working right now as a graduate research assistant for the PERL lab. My thesis research dealt with developing a unique ignition system for supersonic combustors with the goal of utilizing the same liquid fuel as used within the main combustion chamber. My upcoming PhD research will be dealing with the full characterization of rotating detonation rocket engines (RDREs) with H2/O2 propellants eventually leading to work with cryogenics. I have gained extensive experience with both software and hardware used in propulsion facility operations. This includes MATLAB, SOLIDWORKS,NI LabView, and Ansys FLUENT to name a few.
