I have a total of 35+ years of experience, in Architectural Design and Construction Project Management with a commitment to teamwork, results, and customer service. In my current role with State of Play Hospitality, I have a day-to-day project managing role with a new venue concept, Flight Club - a social darts destination.My career has grown moving up thru both McDonald's Corporate Development Team and Indianapolis Regional Office. After taking a few years to deal with personal family issues, I returned to my roots, with a short stints as a Construction Project Manager doing challenging residential rehabs on Chicago's Southside as well as doing some personal House Flipping projects. Wanting to be more involved in the construction process I took a role as an actual Construction Superintendent overseeing a challenging Library Remodel/Addition, a wide variety of QSR and Specialty Concepts, concluding with a full Hotel Remodel/Rebrand. An opportunity to work directly for a franchisee who was growing in various markets Nationwide, brought me back into the Construction Project Manager role, overseeing his Popeyes and Dunkin Donuts projects. The volume and scope of these project made for challenging and satisfying work. But after a few years of moving at full speed despite the Pandemic, I wanted an opportunity to work on something special, something unique. And I have found that with my current role and hospitality concept.Moving forward, I continue to utilize my distinct background of architectural design and construction knowledge, experience, and technical skills to deliver high quality projects. All the while, continuing to expand and challenge my leadership competencies.
