As a part of the Engineering Center Team, my main role is to support the launch of the Plastic Injection Molds for the new programs for Mercedes Benz SUV plant in Alabama such as VC167 Series, V167 Maybach, V167-AMG and X167-AMG for Bumpers and Ornaments, also support Engineering Changes for current programs. I support the plant's Tool Room with technical support for spare parts and corrections needed to improve the efficiency of the current tools.

-Transfer to our new facility at Arlington Texas to be part of the launching team of the GM T1XX SUV program in our new molding – manufacturing facility.On May-2020 I was assigned as responsible to Manage the activities for the Tool Room @ IAC/Arlington, I have 5 Tool Technicians reporting directly to me supporting the Schedule of Preventive Maintenance of the Injection Molds as well as Headliner Molds, also We support the daily activities for Injection Molding and Headliner Lines assuring the molds run properly without issues. I am responsible to procure the spare parts, tools and equipment needed to keep the molds in proper conditions to run efficiently; also as part of my responsibilities is support Injection Molding, Quality and Engineering departments to identify opportunities in the injection molds to improve cycle time and quality of the plastic part, also with Engineering Changes.- I was responsible of the management and readiness of all 39 plastic injection molds that will be molded in our Arlington Plant, from working closely with Product Engineering to review the feasibility of the plastic part, reviewing mold flows; once the injection mold source was selected, I worked closely with the source stablishing the timing for the different stages and activities on the construction of each injection tool, from preliminary mold design review to tryouts of the tools to validate its functionality (cycle time) and quality of the plastic part. Also coordinated and validated the tryouts of the injection tools in home line injection machine to be ready for SOP of the program.- I reviewed the production capacity of our equipment to meet our costumer’s demand.- Help with activities and information for the readiness such as Standard Work Instructions for the Plastic Injection Machines and some our secondary equipment in the plant.

As a part of Strategic Capacity Planning and Restructuring Area, reporting directly to IAC Corporate Southfield offices, I am responsible to revise production capacity in each of our seven plants in México to maximize production capacity and support our commercial group for future business; We make recommendations about which of our facilities in México would have open production capacity to quote and allocate new business and internal transfers. Our department works along with industrial engineering area of each plant in order maintain and update our corporate production capacity data base, which is the one that we use to make our capacity recommendations for future business; once we make our capacity recommendations, we review with central engineering department to define if additional capital is needed to support the new business quoted.
