In 2016, I joined Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY which operates a large hospital, urgent care centers, outpatient practices, and Albany Medical College. In the years that followed, we were joined by 3 smaller hospitals in the region and their related outpatient services as we became Albany Med Health System. As an analyst, I have performed several supply chain functions including maintaining data in various ERP systems and reporting on that data for clinical departments and our finance team. I have also been a part of 2 ERP go-lives as we installed Infor Lawson throughout the organization and later converted to Workday.In my previous position, I was an analyst for a healthcare supply chain consulting company and I worked onsite at a hospital, where I was exposed to purchasing, receiving, and inventory functions. Among my projects were Excel spreadsheets with various supply and financial data and a database with information on contracts. I am interested in learning more about supply chain functions so I joined my local chapter of ASCM (APICS) and obtained a CPIM certification.Before that, I spent many years in the healthcare industry with positions as an office manager for a small local medical practice and a technician in a diagnostic laboratory that served 200 medical facilities and medical practices nationwide.My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from Binghamton University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Penn State University.
