I have always been drawn to the complexities of finance and how it plays a pivotal role in shaping businesses and impacting people's lives. Gaining valuable insights into the financial processes that bolster successful operations, from budgeting and forecasting to making sound financial decisions is something that has always captured my interest. Through my experiences in mortgage lending, property management, and even my internship with Catholic Charities I was able to gain an understanding on the importance and role that finance plays in a real-world context. Understanding how financial decisions determine the livelihood of individual people through the management of income, expenses, and savings is something that property management and mortgage lending exposed me to among many other things. On the other hand, my internship with Catholic Charities gave me a deeper insight on the kind of driving force that finance can be within people searching for stability. Among all my professional experiences I was also able to observe how finance can be the catalyst that enables growth, innovation, and sustainability. For businesses it affects everything from cash flow, to exploring strategic investments, and risk mitigation. It can be the factor that determines a business's longevity and competitiveness within markets that are constantly changing. My goal is to keep learning about the many ways finance can aid individuals and businesses in reaching their goals. With this knowledge I would like to help businesses thrive by helping them embark on sound and calculated journeys towards growth and help guide people towards understanding how finance can affect their everydays lives and reach financial well-being.
