For my next career challenge I would like to manage a team of BI specialists. In this new role I would like to combine my experiences gained from previous roles and my result driven attitude to explore the limits of what BI can offer a company in terms of optimizing operational/business processes or using innovative new ways of data presentation to make it more comprehensible.As Accountmanager Business Intelligence, I thought of and executed a plan on how to better manage the BI workload. Being one of the more senior employees of the Business Intelligence department I partake in the bigger and more complex projects within UPC Nederland and I fulfill an advising role towards other departments. Two of the more recent products of this advisors role being the realization of a Cost2Serve model with which UPC can determine the average cost to serve each type of customer and the introduction of using Googlemaps/Openstreetmap as a new and more comprehensive presentation form for certain types of data.As Sr Operations Reporting Specialist, capable of playing a vital role in balancing business requirements with reporting requirements in either local or pan-European IT-projects.As Operations Reporting Specialist, very capable of translating business needs into understandable & usable reports. Capable of building reporting solutions from scratch or analyzing and updating existing solutions to fit up-to-date requirements. These solutions either being MVIEW, Dashboards or (management) reports.Fully creating and implementing web applications or database driven websites using scripting languages such as PHP, Javascript, Actionscript (Flash), (D)HTML or CSS.Specialties: Analytically strong, thorough and result driven.Above average knowledge of PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Hyperion.Basic knowledge of C++, .NET, PLsql, Oracle.
