Represented AIG in connection with securities and other litigation against their insureds arising out of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, public offerings, inadequate public disclosures in public filings, and bankruptcies. Worked closely with directors, officers, corporations and their defense counsel to achieve mutually favorable resolutions to insurers and insureds. Advised clients regarding the Securities Act of 1933, Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Sarbanes Oxley. Assisted insurance underwriters in drafting policies and endorsements and analyzing pre-existing claims for possible coverage. Attended mediations and arbitrations on behalf of clients.
