I started my work experience as a safety tech, and It wasn't easy. I was expected to train and get buy-in from employees that were older and much more experienced than I was, but I succeeded. I eventually became curious about the insurance side of things and left to work for a personal injury firm. That lead me away from insurance and towards working with people in a more personal matter than I expected. In planning events, and having input on how we presented the firm, I developed a love for creating and maintaining relationships that were not just business minded. I then became an experience consultant for Samsung and the skills I'd acquired were a great fit and really lent themselves to sales. I was recruited to Best Buy after that. Best Buy is where I learned about how technology about more than grown up toys. I learned all the ways that give people higher quality of life, not just convenience. Through it all I've also become a teacher. I realized I taught my coworkers how to be safe, my clients how to look out for themselves, my customers how to think about the future. I connect, I learn and I teach.
