This position includes researching source materials, working with State and National subject matter experts, developing objectives, creating design documents, sequencing instruction, applying instructional strategies, storyboarding content, webinars, face-to-face (F2F) seminars, video vignettes, designing graphics or video, developing eLearning or on-line products for Web portal or LMS, and implementing evaluation tools. Also, collaborates with non-profits, corporate champions, content providers, and after school education experts to partner with instructional staff to foster student engagement, enhance workforce development, and increase student achievement within out-of-school time programs.

Usaf School Of Aerospace Medicine (Contract Consultant)

Direct support function for The Office of the Dean, Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM). Primary contract consultant who managed the design, conversion, development, and deployment of eLearning courses to the Air Force Advanced Distributed Learning Management environment. Saved the Air Force an estimated $500K in outside contractor costs by performing in-house eLearning course development and deployment. Designed course training standards, education plans, course content, interactions, graphics, user interfaces, and animations to enhance student learning. Recommended and selected instructional development platforms, multiple forms of media, training tools, and delivery methods to satisfy the Dean’s eLearning requirements. Ensured courseware was compliant with current DoD, Air Force, and SCORM guidelines.

Instructional design lead of a diversified portfolio responsible for approximately two-million in active courseware development contracts. Managed instructional designer workload, performed storyboard and content peer-reviews, developed style guidance, led process control, worked with corporate clients and subject matter experts to analyze education and training requirements, and ensured continuity of all e-learning, blended, or facilitated learning products.

Curriculum lead for a twelve-member team of instructors and subject matter experts. Designed course charts, lesson outlines, and technical manuscripts for in-residence and distance-learning curriculum ranging from entry to post-graduate level education. Designed, developed, and managed the implementation of 160 hours of blended distance learning curriculum using Flash, and HTML editors.
