A professional in Health and Safety Management with a robust and diversified experience across various segments namely offshore, onshore, process plants, construction and education institutions.My experience managing HSE in different sectors provided me the in-depth experience and enhanced my technical knowledge. My work challenges and exposure includes working independently with minimum guidance and supervision, under pressure and tight delivery schedules and certainly these skillsets have been possible for 12 years of construction experience and 21 years of Oil and Gas experience respectively.Started off as an Offshore drilling platform where I was assigned as a Roustabout for 24 months before I was promoted as a Roughneck at the Rig floor. I was then reassigned from a roughneck to a safety man reporting directly to the Rig Superintendent. Over the years, I have held various positions from working level to middle management and in the recent years I have held various managerial and regional roles which demands critical decision making, providing practical and cost efficient solutions which justified both HSE and progress was able to be executed in parallel.Initiation of the Asia Pacific Crisis Management Center (CMC) from procedure development to training the regional team which includes top management on their roles and responsibilities pertaining to CMC. My last project that I have worked on was at the RAPID Project in Pengerang, Johor. I must say that throughout my work experience, this project has been the most challenging taking into consideration the magnitude of the project, land size, and the 63000-workforce spread throughout 25 major EPCC contractors of most being Multi-National Companies (MNCs)
