Ullink provides global, market leading multi-asset trading technology and infrastructure for buy-side and sell-side market participants.Functions:Shift Team Leader- Supervises day to day operations for the APAC, European and US Markets- Point person on handling serious incidents, before the proper escalation to the immediate superior or to the other teams- Demonstrates application overview and hands-on training for employees locally and other regions- In charge of delegating tasks and responsibilities within the respective shift- Validates deployments of the teamSOD/EOD Process Monitoring- Manages the health of company wide Production/UAT systems by monitoring the Start-Of-Day, intraday and End-Of-Day process of applications on a daily and weekly basis via application logs, Tidal/Autosys or TradeScope- Monitors Order Audit Trail reports sent to FINRAApplication Support and Administration- Performs Production/UAT application deployments, upgrades, migrations and rollbacks via yum or rpm packages or from manual tar file extractions- Provides scripts for monitoring, log archiving, status reports and data extraction from Oracle and MySQL databases- Process automation using Tidal and Autosys- Restart of processes such as JBoss for IOINet Application, Bus Components for the FIX Marketplace Application and Java processes for cRouter in an event of a file descriptor issue- Builds FIXTalk, Appia and RMG connections, add/remove counterparty access, creating FIX Message patches in XML format and connectivity testing for onboarding clients- Runbook documentation of applications, processes and tools via Wiki and ConfluenceIssue/Request Handling- Manage production outages and perform root cause analysis with various groups- Investigates issues and concerns being escalated to the team, whether from the service desk or from other teams, Ullink counterparts or with clients’ IT or FIX personnel (Asia-Pacific, Europe, US); provides resolutions if possible
