Working with a lot of different people was something that I was missing from my earlier jobs. So I chose to go to education, and I loved it. Being an influence on teenagers and sharing them stories. I learned a lot (mostly from students) during these years and it shaped me in the person I am today. Kids instinctively know the difference between 'fake' and authentic, I learned that by being open hearted and real you can make a real difference. I hope to do the same with storytelling in my films.

After an internship with some verification and other work in GMS I decided to stay at Weeronline and work there as a meteorologist. (Writing weatherupdates for newspapers/internet/radio, and doing short weatherforecast on camera for the website. It was a great time with great collegues. I learned a lot about meteorology, but also about working in an office in general. But after almost 2 years I felt I was missing on the social aspect and decided to become a teacher. The beautiful thing about teaching is, is that your work has immediate impact.

Doing research on the added value of a meteorologist opinion besides model data. Verification and evaluation of model data from ECWMF/Hirlam 11 and 22 comparing those to the synoptical data.
