Gergana Ruff is a Chief Operating Officer at a capital raising firm with offices in the U.S. , Japan and Hong Kong, which specializes in fundraising from institutional investors in Northeast and Southeast Asia for leading private fund managers in the U.S. and Europe.She is responsible for managing the operations of the firm, origination and manager selection. Gergana is a FINRA-licensed Principal and is also the firm's global Chief Compliance Officer responsible for legal and regulatory matters across eleven jurisdictions, in which the firm operates. Before joining in 2012, Gergana worked at Bridgewater Associates, Soros Fund Management and Cook Pine Capital. In her previous positions, she specialized in quantitative analysis and portfolio manager research in the alternative investments field.Gergana holds a B.A. from Columbia University, where she double-majored in Economics and Art History, and is a graduate of the Private Equity Program at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School. She holds Series 7, 63 and 24 securities licenses.
