Department of Automobiles and Vehicle ManufacturingResponsible for all BSc and MSc courses for automotive drivelines within the department. Developed new curricula and lecture materials from scratch for vehicle dynamics, principles of automotive drivelines (from clutch to driven wheels) and designing of gearbox and clutch systems. Held theoretical lectures and practical sessions, supervised graduation theses and performed rating of students.

Hungary

Successfully completed two advanced engineering projects in the field of heavy duty truck air compressors to reduce energy consumption. Elaborated and assessed technical concepts from the early draft phase using 0D/1D multiphysics simulations. Designed and assembled A-sample compressors and conducted system tests on compressor test bench. Project targets in terms of energy saving and estimated product costs achieved.

Germany

Contributed to the development of a gearbox and clutch actuator unit from early concept phase to series production. Conducted 0D/1D system simulations based on which the optimal number and size of valves was defined to meet performace requirements. Afterwards, as part of the mechanical design team, created concepts for design improvements for the upcoming sample phases and final 3D CAD part design and technical drawings.

Hungary

Successfully developed a complete transmission control application software incl. most of the vehicle, transmission and actuator level functions and algorithms for a demonstration truck with 12-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). Model-based development with automated code generation. Developed vehicle, subsystem and actuator level plant models, conducted SIL, HIL and vehicle testing. Managed to reduce gearshift noise significantly compared to current state-of-the-art (see also PhD thesis).
