I was developing the system architecture of bespoke automotive and industrial machinery, predominantly end-of-line programming, test and laser trimming equipment. The main focus (70%) of my work is engineering the control software and associated software products, such as SQL database analysis and reporting web applications. My responsibilities also include the design of electronic circuits and electrical control systems. I have also been assigned to calibrate, test, install and commission these machines to sites around the world. I was responsible for a diverse team of 30, lead and motivated technicians, cell leaders and operators. I managed their training and performance to ensure that productivity targets were achieved and that the quality of goods met customer requirements.
