My responsibilities included the processing of diseased plant material received from farmers, based on observed and described symptoms. Further responsibilities included, molecular analysis to identify causal organisms, as well as report writing of each submission to effectively convey results to farmers. I was also responsible for the generation of quotations for reagents and equipment used in the laboratory.
