I started with Babcock in August 2008 as a Site/Maintenance Planner and worked in many areas in the Construction business, as Assistant Construction Manager and Project Planner. Also had to act as the Construction Manager and/or Project Manager when needed.I also formed part of a team on the Kusile Power station New build for more than 3 years as the Project Planner and Planning Department Manager, also worked as the Logistics Manager that had to look after all logistics from manpower, resources to material and gear.

I started my Electrical Trade Apprenticeship at then Polifin (Later Sasol Polymenrs) and qualified as an Electrician. I worked on many plants during my apprenticeship as part of my training program. After I qualified I worked as an Electrician at Sasol Polymers till the opportunity came along to do some Process work. I started as a Maintenance Process Controller in April 2000. This gave me the responsibilities of daily plant process and maintenance. In 2004 I was appointed as Group Leader Electrical to lead the Shift team for process and maintenance functions. I also assisted the Area manager with the planning of maintenance and shutdowns.
