MY CURRENT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:HUMAN RESOURCE FUNCTIONS:Process, verify and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications and employee leaves of absence. Explain company personnel policies, benefits and procedures to employees or job applicants.Examine employee files to answer enquiries and provide information for personnel actions.Answer any questions related to human resources (including salaries, benefits and other pertinent information).Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies and notify eligible workers of position availability.Keep site personnel’s timesheets up to date.Calculate salaries including overtime and re-imbursements.Draft all offers of employment and employee contracts when required.Management of pension fund – new members, personal detail documents, beneficiary documents, withdrawals and members requests.FINANCIAL FUNCTIONS:Withdrawal of cash for petty cash purposes as required. Send purchase orders through for payment and update excel spreadsheet.SHEQ FUNCTIONS:Provide assistance with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality activities as required from time to time.ADMINISTRATION FUNCTIONS:Ensure all company vehicle license are renewed once a year.Organise maintenance and services on all Transstate Group’s vehiclesSUPERVISE/OVERSEE EMPLOYEES:Supervise and oversee the work of the Gardener/Cleaner; Cleaner & Tea Lady and Receptionist.
