Willing to relocate as job requirements see fit.I am currently completing my BSc Quantity Surveying (Hons) degree at the University of the Free State. Due to the immense economic impact of Covid-19, I am aware that jobs are a scarce resource, but I am confident in my developed skills and experience as shown by my various accomplishments, to be a proven asset to any company.Quantity surveying caught my attention: the logistics, planning and execution of major projects became a new driving force within my professional identity along with the opportunity to alter the landscape of a country and creating constructs that will stand the test of time.Before aspiring to join the competitive field of quantity surveying, I completed a degree in BEd FET (4 years). These two degrees may seem contrasting at first, but after an additional four years of facilitating first years, I have grown to realize that the art of teaching can be incorporated in any given area of expertise. Through this experience of personal development, I have acquired many skills, including confidence in presenting and communication which have prepared me for a dynamic work environment. This first-year module specifically focused on skills required to be a successful graduate and an employable adult. The skills taught to these students in weekly classes included time management, goal setting, communication, leadership skill, and a few others. In this regard, I received the award for "Presenter of the Year" in 2018 -and 2019.Besides my academic diligence and work ethic, I was vice-primarius of a Residence Committee who not only pioneered the renaming of the hostel itself but also constructed a new code of conduct to ensure transformative inclusion. I participated in various outreach programs, where I was chairman, which required managing a group of students as we traveled through our neighboring African countries where we developed and implemented various community projects.
