After conceiving and co-founding SERIENCAMP, Germany's first festival dedicated exclusively to serial storytelling, responsibilities entail: - Visiting a wide range of media/film/series/tech/games festivals & conferences for research and industry-overviews- Curating SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE in regards to industry-wide trends and emerging topics, inspiring projects for case studies & presentations, keynote speakers and panelists- Selecting series screenings for SERIENCAMP FESTIVAL- Developing conference formats for networking & pitching - Evaluating early-stage scripts & project proposals from writers & producers - Hosting panels, Q&A-sessions & on-stage interviews

Translating a deep knowledge of film history and the entertainment industry into easily digestible text is part of my job for nearly two decades - either as entertainment journalist for magazines like SPEX, ME.MOVIES and JUICE, as copywriter for point-of-sales publications like KING MAGAZINE and PIRANHA or as writer for press kits, blurbs, pitch decks and synopsis for companies like UNIVERSAL, CAPELIGHT, KOCH MEDIA and DISNEY. In my function as artistic director of Seriencamp Festival and Conference I have to compose concise briefings of complex industry topics and specific series for our editorial staff and marketing department.
