• Casting and Communicating Vision • The Senior Pastor (SP) will work with the Elder Team to formulate the vision and spiritual direction for The Way-Prophetic and Deliverance Ministries of Yeshua Messiah (TWOYM) • This vision will be communicated to the congregation and staff on a regular basis.• The SP is the primary vision caster and public spokesperson for (TWOYM). Teaching/Preaching/Training • Sunday Morning Preaching/teaching –o Sunday morning sermons: this is the key focus and requires a sizable amount of study and preparation time each week. o with the help of the Planning Team, the SP determines the preaching schedule for the year along with detailed elements within the services. • Leadership Equipping and Development – o Implements a process for developing and equipping those in leadership (Elders, Deacons, Staff, etc.) with knowledge, tools, and skills that prepare them for ministry in their respective areas. o The SP works with the Executive Pastor (EP) and Elders to ensure the spiritual health and vitality of the Senior Staff. o The SP casts the vision for leadership training at all levels of church life and assists in finding quality resources and methods for training leaders. ● Staff development and spiritual oversight –o Working with the EP, the SP works with the Elders to ensure the spiritual health and vitality of the Senior Staff. o The SP also offers supervision and direction to staff for on-going growth in their leadership skills which align with the vision and strategies of GCC. 3-20-2023 Pastoral Duties• Pastor to the Leadership Team – o The SP shepherds Council members and executive staff by creating an environment of care.o Overseeing the spiritual health of Gateway’s leadership. o Ensuring that leaders are leading from servant hearts that are listening to God. • Pastor to the Congregation – o The SP oversees the health and work of the Pastoral Care team to ensure that the spiritual health of the congregation, is monitored.

• Accountable for the strategic management of investigation services, crime intelligence, crime prevention, complaints management and associated support services, including finance, supply chain and administration• Identifying and providing strategic input to crime priorities and crime intelligence, with a focus on communicating crime intelligence information to aid and inform visible policing and investigative services• Leading and motivating direct reports, with accountability for a range of HR duties including appraisals, professional development, managing holidays / absence and dealing with any disciplinary actions • Delivering effective complaints management, from initial contact through to resolution, while ensuring full compliance with internal policies, protocols, legal and regulatory requirements• Dealing with various legal applications, relating to firearms, liquor licences, Second-Hand Goods Certificates, Public Driver’s Permits and ensuring compliance to relevant legislation• Establishing and maintaining an informer network, including the verification of informer validity / information, as well as maintaining effective partnerships to contribute to the investigative process• Exercising robust resource management and financial control, with full accountability for the annual budget• Performing regular audits / inspections to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction; and completing trend and performance analysis • Directly contributing to crime neutralization; collating / analyzing intelligence leading to actionable policing activity• Implementing a range of programs / projects to raise awareness of crime within the community in full alignment with station, provincial and national priorities
