BackgroundArchitects Unbound (Pty) Ltd. is an architectural practice that was established on the 1st August 2015 with the main focus on residential architecture (Renovations, alterations, additions, garden apartments and new houses). Since 1996, the principal architect Gerhard Scheepers has gained experience in an extensive range of projects which covers residential, commercial, educational, hospitality, industrial buildings and offices.Concept (Vision):The concept behind Architects Unbound is to identify the client’s desires and needs and then transform those dreams into reality. It is of utmost importance to fully understand the client’s operations, either personal or organisational, thereafter embrace it within the concept design, always with the budget in mind.Further to create order within buildings through design, to ultimately bring about a sense of place on a human scale, to positively inspire people when they experience these spaces we created, create well designed buildings that cares about the conservation of the earth’s natural resources, meats the project’s objectives and ultimately add value.All people experience architecture differently and have different needs, therefore Architects Unbound greatly values any input from our clients!As Winston Churchill said: “We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us.”Mission Statement:Architects Unbound’s undertaking is to establish the project objectives through systematic communication to define and understand the project requirements and then conceptualise these objectives to bring about buildings which are timeless, honest, environmentally sustainable and within budget. The only way to achieve this is by means of comprehensive construction documentation, design co-ordination of build professionals, thorough contractors risk assessment and recommendation before construction and then during construction, proper building contract administrations.
