Consumers could use their mobile devices to pay at the point of sale of retailers through EFT. This included real-time calls to retailers’ POS software to authorise or decline payments. They contracted me to develop a card payment division with an embedded loyalty program. I developed a relationship which led to an agreement with MasterCard, allowing us to white label MasterCard debit and credit cards for corporate clients.
