Reviewing all project activities, work practices and procedures for continuous improvement in safety health and environment aspects.Advising on all project related Safety, Health and Environmental issues.Reviewing project related incident reports for accuracy, satisfactory investigation and appropriate recommended actions.Ensure implementation and of Management systems and procedures and provide support to project staff where necessary.Demonstrate an overriding commitment to safety, security, health, quality and6 environmental responsibility. Conduct site inspections/audits to ensure the observance of health and safety standards and systems.Maintains and reports safety performance statistics both internally and for client reporting needs.Maintaining accountability of line management personnel (Site Manager to the Team Members) for Safety Health and Environmental functions.Maintaining safety education and awareness levels that support effective Safety management.Identify needs for safety training and coordinates sessions/courses for site personnelLead development of the project risk Workshops.Establish and maintain a register of hazardous chemicals including safety data sheets (SDS) and ensure compliance with storage and security requirementsPreparation of the site safety documentation.Implementation, review and auditing of the safety, health and environment management plans.Coordinating appropriate site induction training for site and subcontractor personnel,Providing assistance to supervision and workers in risk identification and job hazard analysis.Facilitating the Health and Safety Committee (and agenda), toolbox meeting topics and involvement of the Health and Safety Representatives (HSR).Establishing and maintaining the filing system for safety and related documentation.
