Converted a 157 room privately-held boutique resort to a Marriott Franchise. Directing the sales effort in the Destination Wedding, Corporate Incentive, Wholesale and Government Markets. Responsible for department budget, sales and marketing plan, advertising channels and positioning of hotel. Worked closely with catering, operations, finance, revenue management and rooms division to meet daily objectives.

Led a 4-person team resulting in group sales of $4 million annually for a full service resort with 280 guest rooms, 29,000 square feet of meeting space along with an Executive Golf Course, Tennis and 77 Slip Marina. Supervised the daily operations of the sales department including sales strategy meetings, monthly reports, forecasting, setting group ceilings and target rates and filling need dates to ensure revenue and room night goals were met. Implemented sales programs and monitored results to meet/exceed budgeted room night, average rate, and revenue goals while ensuring quality customer service.
