Geri Omni aka Omni MC has worked in healing arts for over twenty years. Her expressive mediums include music, dance, yoga, massage and energy work. She is an award-winning choreographer, educator, entrepreneur, and founder of various community empowerment initiatives including Setu Tribe, which began as a movement-centered women’s empowerment group and has grown to include men and children. Omni is also the creator and host of The Warm Up event in both Philly and Honolulu where these cities’ revered musical masters and it’s fervent novices share the stage and create music and magic together. Omni has studied at CAPA, PhilaDanco, University of the Arts, and Alvin Ailey. Musically she has worked with such artists as Cee Knowledge, (Doodlebug), Donn-T, Chuck Treece, and Ursula Rucker, to name a few. She has also opened up for artists G-Love & Special Sauce, Lyrics Born and Jedi Mind Tricks. Omni MC (formerly known as Lady Omni) has been an integral member of several group projects including The Femme-Mynistiques, Infinite Giants, and Global Local and is currently performing as a solo artist with various collaborative projects in the works. Following the call to reach beyond her beloved city limits to a wider audience and from a deeper source, Omni now resides in Honolulu and continues to serve her Philadelphia community remotely.Omni's newest project is an independent record label called Chi Funk under which she will be releasing her solo EP, Let It Grow, in 2022.
