Piping Rock Partners was founded in 2006 with the acquisition of our first 58-unit multifamily property in Ohio. Piping Rock Partners has since grown into a vertically integrated real estate investment firm with approximately $50 million in assets under management. The name "Piping Rock" is inspired by Piping Rock Park, where I developed about my passion for teamwork and relationships through baseball. This name helps reflect my belief in the value of teamwork, practice, relationships, and trust.As the leader of our investment and acquisition initiatives, I focus on originating joint venture equity, partnership equity, and debt financing. Additionally, I oversee all aspects of asset management, property management, and accounting for our existing investments.In these roles, I prioritize maintaining discipline throughout the holding period, ensuring effective expense and capital management. I am dedicated to identifying and executing various financial, tax, operational, and asset-level strategies that enhance the customer experience and create value for our investment partners.

I traveled around the world solo for 18 months with 3 surfboards and a backpack. I made my way to multiple uninhabited islands, surfed empty line ups for extended periods of time, slept overnight on a variety of warm sandy beaches, successfully took my malaria pills as directed, and made numerous friends out of complete strangers.

I was a team member and eventually team leader focused on developing, originating, structuring, pricing and executing complex structured finance transactions. Collectively, we were were responsible for placing debt and equity for approximately $4 billion in domestic & cross border leverage lease financings. These transactions included securitizations and asset and tax-based financings of communications & technology infrastructure, private placements of debt & equity for commercial real estate debt, as well as private placements of debt & equity for a variety of cross-border leveraged lease financings involving railroad rolling stock, commercial aircraft, and industrial manufacturing facilities.

I was the London-based co-manager of European originations for a new commercial aircraft lease securitization program. In addition, I assisted the London-based Europe, Middle East and Africa team with various special projects, primarily related to lease financings and securitizations. Prior to my transfer to London, I was a New York based portfolio manager of a variety of structured equity investments in nuclear power plants, commercial aircraft, ocean-going vessels and cogeneration facilities
