Respite Worker
Current-Independently follows instructions as outlined by the family. Services may include but are not limited to assistance in the following areas: identifying emergency situations in the home; toileting and personal hygiene; meal preparation; medications; household safety; household tasks; leisure activities and exercise and neighboring.-Will report suspected incidents of abuse to appropriate Protective Services Agency (APS or CPS) and follow internal agency reporting guidelines.Sensitivity and responsiveness to an individual’s needs.-Anticipates potential problems and takes appropriate action.-Demonstrates courtesy and respect in all communication.-Adapts personal communication style to accommodate each individual.-Demonstrates a commitment to serving all individuals, including those with more challenging attitudes or needs.-Will use safety precautions at all times when providing care.
