Commodity "Miniature Relays & Low Power Inductive Components and Filters"• Company-wide responsibility for innovation, supplier portfolio, cost and value optimization and supplier quality for an assigned Purchasing Volume of 175 millions €/year • Coordinate and manage a team globally• Collect and harmonize the requirements across the different business units in alignment with the market and regulations• Create and drive a sustainability strategy for the commodity• Intense cooperation with main cross-functions• Development, implementation and fostering a cross functional commodity strategy• Conduct negotiations together with Purchasing Manager• Negotiate purchasing and quality contracts with suppliers• Conduct supplier audits and improvement programs worldwide

• Business Unit responsibility for selected electrical components: relays, inductors, switches, circuit breakers, fuses, etc.• Introduction, standardization, discontinuation of components• Technical counselling to R&D, production, incoming inspection, test planning, purchasing and disposition departments• Technical handling of quality issues in the material field including implementation and control of necessary corrective actions• Evaluation of 8D-reports• Participation in supplier audits as technical expert• Interface to other Component Engineering departments

• Internship in standardisation project for Inductors & Relays at Supply Chain Management• Market research and identification of product strategies• Creation of product clusters. Determination of technical and commercial conditions for second sources• Work with international quality documents and norms, as with internal quality specifications• Close collaboration with SQM, component engineers, R&D and Purchasing Manager• Participation in the development of a component selection and standardization tool
