The Chief Security Officer reports to the Staff Captain and is responsible for implementing the Ship's Security Plan and policies as stated in the Security Manual and the Guest Conduct Policy. Must develop and implement procedures to ensure security obligations and policies are fulfilled and is expected to contribute to the Company’s Rules and Regulations continuous improvement efforts.All duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance with ISPS, Company standards, SSP, ISM code standards, all flag and national regulations applicable to the ship and the Company.•Coordinates Hotel Security activities closely with the Hotel Director. Responsible for managing all shipboard security operations and for following and implementing security policies and guidance provided by the Main Office. Have an excellent understanding of Master's Rules and Regulations and Company Policies. Work a regularly assigned schedule and is expected to otherwise be on-call at any time that his assistance may be required.•Responsible for: Ensuring both the ship’s access and guest security functions are successfully met; maintaining all security equipment; preparing all required security documentation and reports; fulfilling the security training needs of all ship’s personnel.•Maintain close communication with Main Office to continuously improve fleet security and to follow policies that require the immediate notification of Main Office personnel of all criminal allegations involving crew or guests.•Assist with the Security budget and project management within the security related equipment and systems.•Responsible to train assigned personnel in gangway duties and general shipboard security.•Participate in maintaining good order and conduct throughout the vessel always. •Responsible for the operation and routine maintenance of all security devices and the training of personnel in the use of such equipment.

• Responsible for the access controls of Terminal 3.• Responsible for compliance with private security regulations.• Control and maintenance of security equipments (Alarms, Arch Metal Detectors and X-Ray Machines).• Prepare a watch schedule for 100-120 Security Guards.• Organization of VIP escorts.
