Perform cost projections and collaborate with project management in cost deviation calculations.Lead multidisciplinary meetings to review the safety of the processes (HAZOP) of the projects in charge as well, as lead the processes (IQ) for the delivery of the finished chemical systems.Lead the bidding and procurement processes for equipment and services associated with the projects in charge, as well as being responsible for the technical and economic evaluations of the suppliers for the selection and award of the purchase packages.

Chemical Process Engineer in a sour gas treatment plant (PIRINEO-1). Obtaining important achievements in optimization of chemical process for sweetening, dehydration of sour gas, sulfur recovery (THIOPAQ), well production optimization and automation control of thermodynamic processes. Reductions of fuel gas consumption, synergy between operations and maintenance departments, reduction of unscheduled shutdowns due to deviation of natural gas quality parameters, and high satisfaction customer (PEMEX) with the service.Simulations chemical process using specialized software (HYSYS, PROMAX), for critical parameter analysis (pressure, temperature, concentration, flow) for chemical process, mass and energy balancing, equipment and piping design, and troubleshooting related to the process chemistry of the OIL&GAS sector, refineries and petrochemicals.O&M AREA: Monitoring and control of operation parameter based on the operational philosophy for sour gas treatment plants. Plant operation with high degree of automation control process (DCS). Evaluation and monitoring of critical process security systems such as; emergency shut-off valves (SDV), fire and gas sensors, toxic gas and explosive environment. Participation in plant operation activities like: pressurization and depressurization of equipment and process lines, pressure and control level, scheduling activities in plant, emergency plant shutdown (SDV control), safety monitoring in startup plant , mechanical integrity analysis for equipment and process lines, monitoring of relief systems and F&G detectors. Coordination of maintenance personnel in the execution of activities in plant in order to comply with the scope, time and cost of the contractual O&M service.
