Previous technical responsiblities unchanged.In addition, coordinating tooling, support, and methodology development along the entire functional verification chain, including simulation, formal verification, assertion based verification.

Responsibilities include methods, tools, infrastructure and support for System Level Engineering, RTL design and analog design.More specifically:- SystemC tools, build environment, support- FPGA prototyping tools and support for algorithm prototyping and IC prototyping- Tools and infrastructure for analog simulation- Tools and infrastructure for digital simulation and verification

Bridges2Silicon was an EDA-Startup in Sunnyvale, California which was acquired by Synplicity end of 2002. I did concept, design, and implementation of major parts of the product (an FPGA real-time source level debugger) which was later marketed by Synplicity and is now marketed by Synopsys under the name "Identify".My reponsibilities ranged from defining and implementing major parts of the software to pre- and post-sales support for customers, also product presentations at customer sites and trade shows.

Member of the SystemC Compiler R&D team. Responsibilities included development and maintenance of GUI utilities (BCView, MemWrap) and parts of the core software (Language front-end, FSM generation)

Worked on a research project funded by DFG (Deutsche Forschunggemeinschaft) on Rapid Systems Prototyping of Realtime Embedded Systems.Research work included Behavioral Synthesis, Hardware-Debugging, Hardware Emulation and FPGA Prototyping. Several publications in international conferences and journals resulted from this work.

Worked on a European Basic Research project (COBRA). Research interests included Behavioral Synthesis and Hardware Debugging and Emulation.
