Security Team Lead
Presents information on subordinate staff of significant events that transpire at the beginning of each shift. Issues staff work assignments.At each shift, visits each designated work area. Provides mentorship and technical guidance to subordinate staff while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.Provides exceptional customer service to patients, guests, and staff.Conducts continuous and alert preventative patrols of assigned areas. Identifies, reports, and takes corrective action on all conditions which endanger the safety and security of staff, visitors, patients, corporate facilities, and property. Circulates among visitors, staff, and patients to sustain a high profile to preserve order and protect property.Investigates all reported and discovered incidents and complaints. Locates and obtains statements from witnesses, obtains identification and evidence as needed, and reports all findings to the House Supervisor, Security Supervisor, and Manager as appropriate.Prepares written reports of investigations, incidents, daily activities, and other related irregularities as necessary or directed.Responds, issues directives, and provides support to subordinate staff during substantial events, such as uses of force and other crises, to ensure the safety of CMC staff, patients, and guests.Oversees the prioritization of calls for service and coordinates resources to ensure responses are handled with the appropriate urgency.Critically evaluates situations with no governing policy or procedure, considers the consequences of decisions, and chooses an appropriate action based on information available.Trains newly hired staff in job competencies, applicable laws and standards, and CMC facility layouts. Ensures new staff have the skills required and are capable to perform the job.Performs other duties as assigned.
