People often ask me what drew me to the world of insurance. Working in this industry enables me to utilise my creativity and problem-solving mindset to provide innovative solutions in a competitive and constantly developing industry - always looking at ways to improve and differentiate. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work for a series of leading organisations within their industry, including Pinpoint Marketing, Sensis, Woolworths Group and now WooliesX - an innovation business that brings together the brightest minds in e-commerce, technology, media and data to transform the way people live and shop. Having worked widely across insurance and operations, I have been able to develop extensive experience in managing large scale teams and budgets in complex organisations. Throughout these experiences, I have adopted an informed and proactive approach, ensuring seamless product integration and improved customer experience. Unashamedly delivery focussed, I pride myself on the fact that I am able to adopt a proactive, test and learn approach to all facets of my work, as opposed to a slow, paralysing, reactive approach which is all too common in the Insurance industry.No leader in this industry would be able to succeed without genuine care for their employees and expert people management skills. I strongly believe that to provide successful solutions for customers, you need to have successful, passionate, and motivated staff.
